How many pillars would a 24 storey building require? Though I am not an engineer ,yet I can figure it out. As I press the B button in the OTIS lift of my 24 storey apartment building, it takes me down to the basement parking ,where I can find that approximately 35-40 pillars support the entire structure. Yes, I am talking about the foundation of the building. What if the building was supposed to be a 100 storey one. The figures would change,what else. It would now require more pillars with more strength and depth. These pillars are in a way ,the spinal cord of the building. The dimension of any building can be expressed in these simple terms- Height, being the no. Of storeys : Length & Breadth, being the total area : Depth, being the foundation.
What can we learn from the above example? If we compare EBIZ business to one such building,it will also have almost the same dimension. Length & Breadth , being the diversification : Depth ,being the no. Of leaders in our group : Height ,definitely being our Success. The point I want to convey is that all the dimensions have to be in equilibrium and should grow in tandem.
LENGTH*BREADTH   :  The bigger the area, the more number of flats we can construct. Same way, the more is our regional spread, i.e. taking our group to as many places as possible, the more number of satisfied associates would be flourishing in this business.
DEPTH : The higher we want to go , the deeper has to be the foundation. Thats why I say that, for any successful group, its not the leg count , actually its the number of leaders who prepare the entire group to achieve greater heights. Focus on developing leaders for future rather than just making a sale for the present , it  will strengthen your base.
HEIGHT :  Everyone would love the top, but how many would be ready to climb up the stairs. Sorry , there is no lift (shortcuts) available in this building of Success .The best way to achieve the height is to stick to the basics i.e. building a strong foundation with a wonderful spread of venues along with a huge number of leaders , following the best of the best practices , connecting everyone with a good relationship etc.
If we know these dimensions well , and construct the building with the concrete, being solid training, ours will be the best and the strongest one . But how can we actually do it? I have observed a few points, which might seem very simple, but are actually not that easy, yet if followed ,success in Ebiz can be a lot easier. Choice is obviously yours.
Basic training :   In so many of my training meetings, I found that even Silvers and Golds have not completed their Diary properly, forget about the cycle achievers. Why? They always think that they will do it afterwards. So many times they might have been told to complete their Diary . but even after –say 50 hours of training ,their diary is still incomplete. We are supposed to write 200 guests  list, 100 dreams list , fears list and the why card. Thats it .How much time does it take to complete even half of it, hardly 1-2 hours. I strongly advise all of you to get a new associate’s diary completed in the very first basic training meeting in your presence itself, rather than motivating them to do it as soon as possible ,which actually never happens. It will hardly take 2 hours extra ,which would also save you lot of time and energy which generally an upline waste again and again only on this topic.
Books :  A similar nature is followed while motivating associates to start reading books. About 90% of new associates are not good readers or say- not even readers. Its very very very difficult to convert a non-reader to a reader, because I also don’t know .Sorry. I,myself was also caught up with this issue. Its better to read with them the first story of that Helium filled colourful balloon –from the book “ You Can Win” , which would increase their interest in reading books. The more we force our associates to read books, the more they will alienate themselves from it. Rather give examples, tell stories, quotations from different books which you have read. But for that you must also be a good reader first . Why its important to read good books? Because its necessary to know how the world thinks,how can we grow, whats the truth, to say movited, to be inspired , to explore ourselves. Books are one of the best sources from where we can learn a lot and can even teach a lot, that is what we are supposed to do in Ebiz. Even in the absence of upline, books can guide us in the way we are supposed to be guided. Some of the good reads can be:

Be a Role Model : We often criticize our downlines for not doing this & that, not following this & that. But what about me? Am I doing or following what I am supposed to ? If I put my thoughts in simple words , we cannot expect our downlines to deliver ,until we deliver. If we are late for a meeting, we have no right to …………..If we are not in proper attire, we have no right to ………………If we do not take personal presentations,board meetings, we have no right to ………………………………    If a venue meeting or a training meeting has to be organised, it is “me” who has to take the initiative. Often we blame it on our uplines or downlines, but always remember “ IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UPTO ME.” Never hesitate to take the initiative for anything good which is in the common interest of your group. By doing this, we create a better trust and a healthy relationship in our group.  “PREACH WHAT YOU PRACTISE AND PRACTISE REGULARLY WHAT YOU PREACH”. If we follow this mantra, then only we can be role models for our group, and trust me being successful in EBIZ, also depends on the number of people you are a role model for.
